Due to The Nation's Triathlon's unique location in the heart of the Nation’s Capital and the associated closing of major roadways in downtown DC, all athletes (individuals and teams) MUST attend a race briefing before picking up race packets. That means ALL members of a team MUST attend the briefing and pick up their individual packet. Packets will NOT be distributed on race day. Race bracelets will be given to all athletes and will be inside of each packet. Packets will be held under Team name.
Packet pickup will be held at the Expo. It will be centrally located in Washington, DC.
All athletes must rack their bike on Saturday, September 12, 2009. You must attend a race brief and pick up your race packet before racking your bike. You will need your race bracelet to enter the transition area. We will have bike mechanics on duty Saturday and race morning able to perform minor bike maintenance at no charge. They will have bike pumps, but we do recommend bringing your own and sharing it. The bike mechanic tent is located next to the transition area.
