Registration Overview

Registration for The Nation’s Triathlon is now open!  
Race with athletes from 572 cities, 39 states and 7 countries in Washington, DC on
September 13, 2009!


Slots last year sold out and we expect them to do so again this year so don’t delay your registration or you may be shut out. To register for The Nation’s Triathlon choose from
one of the following three (3) Divisions:

Age Group

Choose this Division to compete solo in your age group. As an age group athlete you may also choose to participate, if you qualify, in The Congressional Challenge or the UMUC Military Challenge. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group.  Please note, athletes must be 18 or over to participate.

Team

Choose this Division to compete as a team of either two or three athletes. Team categories include coed, male and female teams. You will be given the option to choose which section of the race (swim, bike or run) each athlete will complete as part of the team. Awards are given to the top three teams in each category.  Please note, athletes must be 18 or over to participate.

Elite

Choose this Division to compete at an Elite level only. Elite racers are not eligible for Age Group awards. Men qualify with an Olympic time of 2:15 or less. Women qualify with an Olympic distance time of 2:30 or less. Awards are given to the top three men and women finishers.  Please note, athletes must be 18 or over to participate.

REFUND POLICY: All registrations are final. There are no rollovers, no refunds and no transfers of bib numbers or race slots of any kind for any reason. Active duty military personnel may request a refund or rollover based on active military duty.

Brief Description:
The 4th Annual Nation´s Triathlon To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will take place Sunday, September 13, 2009 in the nation´s Capital, Washington, D.C. It features a course that winds through Washington, D.C.´s monument corridor in the shadow of the nation´s best known memorials and national treasures. This Olympic distance triathlon includes a 1.5k swim in the Potomac River, 40k bike course through D.C., and a 10k run through Washington, D.C.´s historical landmarks with a spectacular finish!
